The Vision Behind the Lens
Oluwatobi Ogundunsin is a UK-based fine art photographer and founder of Bigrexvisuals, a creative platform dedicated to lens-based storytelling. Originally from Nigeria, he has developed a distinctive practice that explores identity, emotion, and cultural narratives, combining technical mastery with compelling visual composition.
Since establishing Bigrexvisuals in 2016, Oluwatobi’s work has been featured in leading publications such as The Guardian, Vanguard, Tribune, The Nation, and Alternate Culture. His photography has been exhibited across the United Kingdom, United States, and Nigeria, where it has received recognition for both artistic impact and cultural relevance.
Oluwatobi’s imagery often transforms everyday moments into timeless stories, reflecting a contemporary African perspective within the global fine art space. Influenced by the storytelling tradition of Gordon Parks, his portraits and conceptual works invite viewers to consider the intersection of personal experience and shared cultural memory.
Beyond his artistic practice, Oluwatobi is committed to building an inclusive photography industry. Through Bigrexvisuals, he champions mentorship, collaboration, and education, supporting emerging creatives and expanding opportunities for diverse voices in the arts.
Today, Bigrexvisuals continues to evolve as a platform where art, identity, and community converge—presenting photography as both an artistic discipline and a powerful means of cultural dialogue.
